“The Heart of It All”
“February was a month focused on relationships and love and what better way to sum it all up than to talk about the “heart of it all”, the spiritual relationship you have between you and God.”
“Trust the Process”
I am a visionary and I dream a lot and often find myself in dazes, at times, imagining what life is going to be like one day. I get excited, sometimes dancing, other times just saying “thank you Jesus”, other times making my favorite noise “whoop whoop” as my confirmation that I receive what I just imagined…and then, something comes up to try to take that in which I just got excited about.
“Walk a Mile in My Shoes”
We all have had that one person, that one family, that we admired or felt like they had it altogether. All of us, at one point in time, have had someone that we have been envious of or wondered how they got this or that. Some of us has even tried to mimic others by purchasing the same clothes, shoes, homes, or re-create their lifestyle. What we don’t know is the process, what it took for them to get where they are, the things they had to go through. All we know is that we want that….not really knowing the cost!
“This Little Light of Mine, I’m Going to Let it Shine”
I have been so afraid to move forward out of FEAR of what others may say or what they may think about me. I have told myself other things like “I need to lose weight”, “I don’t like the way my voice sounds”, “I need to go to toastmasters class to make sure that my delivery is effective when speaking”, etc. But God, has told me that who I am sending you to, I don’t need primp and proper, I need real. I need you to share your journey, your success, your challenges, your insecurities, your fears, because everyone has them but not everyone wants to talk about them.
Dealing with Stress and How to Overcome It
Sometimes you have to just take a moment to BREATHE! Inhale now Exhale! Yes, it’s an automatic thing that we do when we are living, but how many of us really take the time to just be present and take in the moment of air entering and exiting our bodies? With such a busy life, I understand how you can get so busy and consumed with everything around us that we don’t take time to embrace moments like this.
