I am not sure about you, but yesterday I had those “Monday Blues” after a busy weekend. Here are 5 things that I use to help me get through my day and to shift my mindset into feeling better:

  1. Listen to an empowering Podcast or message on Youtube. Not only will listening to other people’s inspiring success stories help lift you up and get you in the mood to go after your dreams but listening to other people talk is a wonderful way to get a brand-new perspective on how to approach life.

  2. Write down your intentions for the day. By writing down your intentions, it helps you stay on track with goals and more than likely gives you a sense of accomplishment once you’re done. This helps set the tone and contributes to how you feel throughout the day.

  3. Do a quick 5–10 minute meditation session. Meditation is so powerful, and it allows you to hear from God. I typically do my meditation sessions in the morning before I get out the bed just so that a preservation is already set.

  4. A huge step towards a positive mindset is including self-care in your weekly schedule by spending time doing things you enjoy doing during your free time. I enjoy walks in the park, going to sit on the beach, playing games with the girls, and spending time with family and friends.

  5. Journaling is another way to improve your mindset. It is a way to process your feelings and approach situations in a more effective way. I typically like to journal at night to share my thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
